Aside from buying local and supporting local businesses, here are some ways to plug in...
- Visit our WWOLF Page to learn more about visiting and working for a day on local farms.
- Lead an Central Oregon Locavore Edible Adventure Crew to your favorite berry patch, apple orchard or mushroom spot.
- Better yet, follow up the Edible Adventure Crew trip with a class on how to preserve your local haul for the winter.
- Host a local food potluck at your house and show an educational movie. I will advertise for you!
- Host a local food event at your place of business, great marketing for you, great fun for us!
- Host a cooking class featuring local food.
- Join the Weston A Price Bend Chapter and learn more about local food and nutrient-dense nutrition
We are in the process of fund-raising to create a local food hub for Central Oregon. An element of our fund-raising campaign includes hosting fun, local-food oriented, education-based awesome parties at various venues. Do you love to party? Do you have a great group of friends who would come together to celebrate and support our local farmers?

2. Volunteer with Locavore. We are a community project operating on very small profit margins, we are always in need of a helping hand. If you have any specific skills, the more the better.
