We host several annual Farm to Chef “mixer events” such as the Farmer-Chef Mixer, Community Supported Agriculture Faires and Farmer-Community Mixers.
These mixers bring together the farmers, chefs, buyers and community members to form connections, network and establish business relationships. This program serves to increase local commerce by acting as “match-maker” between chefs, farmers, buyers and community members as well as provide education about and opportunities to sample products from local farmers. The goal of this program is to increase the amount of food that is purchased from local farmers by restaurants, institutions and consumers.
