How to place an order using EBT (SNAP or Oregon Trail Card): 

Create an account by clicking "Register Now" link. If you already have an account, login to begin ordering items. Place items in cart. Upon check out, click the box that says "Pay with EBT" and enter your EBT card number. Click "Submit".

 
Please familiarize our policy: 

• If you have checked the "Pay with EBT" box upon check-out, you may not order any items that are not considered food. You MAY NOT use EBT funds to purchase household items such as soap, lotions, pet food or any other non-food items per Federal Law. You MAY use EBT funds to purchase seeds and starts for plants that will be food.

• If you would like to purchase non-food and non-eligible items please place a separate order.

• Funds will be deducted from your account after the order pick-up, pending your signature on a voucher that will be located with your order.

• You MUST pick up your order at the specified date and time. You may not arrange to pick your order up at another time as your signature is needed on the voucher to transfer funds from your account to the farmers/producers. The cardholder must be the one who picks up your order.

• Failure to pick up your order means Locavore does not get paid (Federal Law states you must sign the voucher or we cannot transfer funds) and your order must be donated or returned to the farmer, which is often impossible. Failure to pick up your order or insufficient funds in your account will disqualifiy you from ordering again.

We are currently in the process of researching how we can allow you to purchase CSA (Community Supported Agriculture Shares) with your EBT funds. Stay tuned....
